Some more about Alyce
Her experience in the Mental Health space includes working with clients through a psychiatric rehabilitation service providing in-house, outreach at home, and inpatient case management and support; as well as obtaining nationally recognised qualifications and training working for several years at Lifeline as a Telephone Crisis Supporter on the National Suicide Crisis Line. Her experience in the Psychology space includes providing services across the lifespan (from school aged children through to older adults), including psychological therapy for individuals experiencing a wide range of symptoms, diagnoses, and difficulties across Medicare, Workcover, privately funded, and NDIS clients, as well as providing formal diagnostic (psychometric) assessments and reports, to those located in urban, rural, and remote settings.
Outside of Lighthouse Psychology & Counselling, Alyce continues to provide psychology services to rural and remote communities, is an avid researcher (with one publication up her sleeve, and another as a work in progress), and can often be found squeezing a trip to the beach, camping, crocheting, or spending time in the garden and nature.
